 The British American Foundation of Texas, BAFTX

Celebrating a Five Year Anniversary

Reaching new heights is the inspiration for every motivated individual and team, the Board members, Corporate sponsors, supporters, and scholarship award recipients all share the same dream, 'to make a difference', taking each other to new horizons.

So it was with the founding directors of BAFTX, seeking to make a difference and forging ever stronger links between the UK and Texas, providing hope to the next generation of future business and global leaders.

Since our formation in 2006, BAFTX have touched the hearts and minds of over 150 young adults, bought together leading companies within the USA and Canada with links to the UK, created a unique environment for the award recipients and reinforced an ever expanding network of academia in both Texas and the UK.

BAFTX have forged ties to industry for our Alumni, by arranging internships. Our Award Ceremonies are inspiring, bringing together families and corporate presenters, supporters   and academia, making all of our efforts worthwhile.

BAFTX are already seeing the fruits of our efforts. Students are beginning to flourish, seizing  the opportunity and taking themselves to new heights, beyond what was even imagined possible. Awards and recognition within the community are treasured.

The BAFTX fundraisers are unique, increasingly supported and above all else, fun!

I should like to thank our loyal supporters, the Board of Directors,  Carole Serjeant our trusted Executive Director, the many generous sponsors, institutes of higher learning and above all the students that make this all possible. They give us hope for the future and we are blessed in being able to pave the way with a truly solid foundation for growth for the next five years and beyond.
