"Undergraduate" Award Criteria   

Purpose of the Award

The undergraduate award is intended for low income families from Texas and is intended to alleviate the financial burden of funding those college fees. We know there are lots of choices to be made when deciding upon a college but our aim is to give academically adept students the opportunity to excel.

General Description of the Award

Awards are expected to be of significant value for at least one semester at a top rated college or multiple years at another university - we aim to make a difference and take away some of the financial worries; providing the student with continued educational opportunities.

Scholarship Requirements

A permanent resident of Texas;
      Documentation required (proof of residency required, SSN number, etc.)

Enrolled in full time education

Aged between 18 and 22 years

Consideration partially based on annual household income

In possession of a valid passport or eligible to receive one

Maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above

Be able to attend a 15 minute meeting/interview with a BAFTX panel somewhere in the
      Houston area; location to be determined

   Provide a completed Application Form 

 For students applying from the UK; you must be a permanent resident of the UK
      Documentation required (proof of residency required.)
